Numerous Crashes Cause Delays During Storm

Three crashes caused delays on three busy roadways in the area amid the storm on Tuesday afternoon.

The right and center lanes on eastbound I-287 in Westchester were blocked by a crash between exits 7 and 8 just before 4 p.m.

There were delays on the Tappan Zee Bridge following a crash mid-span at around 4:15 p.m. northbound (Rockland-bound).

A two-vehicle crash shut down Route 202 (Bear Mountain Bridge Road) for more than an hour. Police said the roadway is currently being reopened. No serious injuries were reported. 

The crash took place around 2:15 p.m. Feb. 12, in Cortlandt Manor, said the New York State Police.

Two lanes on northbound I-684 have reopened following an earlier four-vehicle crash. Town/Harrison.
